Jump Street Chelmsford

Jump Street Trampoline Park Chelmsford is located in the industrial area to the North of Chelmer Village. There is also a Jump Street Trampoline Park in Colchester but we’ll be focussing on the Chelmsford site.

What Age of Children will Enjoy Jump Street?

Jump Street Chelmsford doesn’t have a minimum age but any child who can jump will probably be able to have a good time with the three and overs getting most out of it. There is no maximum age and plenty of adults jump too. If you have little ones that enjoy jumping they will also like the bouncy pillow at Marsh Farm.

Useful Information for Visiting Jump Street

All sessions at jump Street currently need to be booked in advance in their website. Make sure you arrive 30 minutes before your session to allow time for the safety briefing etc. Before you enter the trampoline park you’ll need to buy some jump street socks, these are £1.95 but you can keep them. If you have socks from other trampoline parks Jump Street will exchange them for their ones for free.

Once you’ve paid you’ll need to go to the locker room where you can change into your socks and watch the safety video. The lockers are free and use a number combination which you set.

At the far end is an area with professional trampolines. As a woman who has had two children, I find them much more forgiving to jump on! There is also “The Wall” where you try and jump from the trampoline into the wall and an area with gladiator style pupil sticks and and balance bars with an air bag to fall in.

Jump Street Chelmsford offers a number of different sessions for children. For the youngest there are the tots sessions, which are for under fours. If you have an under 4 and older children you can attend the sibling sessions which is limited to under 4s and their older siblings. It’s quieter than the open jump and also cheaper so worth making the most of when you have the right age combination. Once you all your children are over 4, you need to attend the Open Jump where everyone is welcome.

Booking, Eating and Parking

A standard session for the open jump is one hour long but you can get various deals for staying longer or combining wit with clip n’ climb or their soft play, Kendrick Kingdom. They have a decent size free car park and over overflow but there are times at weekends or during school holidays it isn’t enough, particularly on the hour when open jump sessions are changing over.

There are toilets available and they have a cafe in site selling hot and cold drinks, snacks and light meals.
